District of Columbia County District Of Columbia has 50 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 15 places of National significance and 24 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Adams Memorial, Administration Building, Carnegie Institute of Washington, American Federation of Labor Building, American National Red Cross and American Peace Society.
