Tama County Iowa has 16 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 6 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Chambers Ford Bridge, Le Grand Bridge, Lincoln Highway Bridge, Round Barn, Buckingham Township and Toledo Bridge.

The famous person R.H. Moore is associated with one of more of the Tama County historic places.
