Vermont - Chittenden County - Historic Districts
Chittenden County Vermont (Historic Districts) has 42 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 36 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Bates, Martin M., Farmstead, Battery Street Historic District, Battery Street Historic District (Boundary Increase), Buell Street--Bradley Street Historic District and Charlotte Center Historic District.

Some of the country's most noteable architects helped create the Chittenden County places including CCC, Mead & White McKim, A.B. Fisher, George Guernsey, Civilian Conservation Corps, A. S.
