Significant places include Carmichael House, Enterprise Bridge, Highway 11 Bridge over Chunky River, Overseer's House and Outbuildings of Lang Plantation and Prairie Place.

Many famous people are associated with these Clarke County historic places including William B. Trotter, Thomas Woolverton, Dr. Lee, Colonel Robert McLain and William Covington.
