Significant places include Fairbanks Museum, St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, St. Johnsbury Main Street Historic District, Barnet Center Historic DIstrict and Bradley Covered Bridge.

Many famous people are associated with these Caledonia County historic places including Jonathan R. Darling, John Mattocks, William Chamberlain, Franklin Fairbanks, Seth Eastman and Charles C. Lord.
