Significant places include Fort David A. Russell, Frewen, Moreton, House, Atlas Theatre, Capitol North Historic District and Cheyenne South Side Historic District.

Many famous people are associated with these Laramie County historic places including Moreton Frewen, Erasmus Nagle, George W. Baxter, Ferdinand Lafrentz, Mary O'Hara and Thomas Heaney.
