Carroll County Indiana has 23 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 6 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Adams Mill, Burris House and Potawatomi Spring, Delphi Lime Kilns, Lock No. 33 Lock Keeper's House, and Wabash and Erie Canal Lock No. 33 and Sunset Point.

Some of the country's most noteable architects helped create the Carroll County places including Reed Case, Robert W. Smith, National Concrete Co., Samuel Freshour, George Holsinger, J. R.
