Significant places include Baker House, Bulow, Governor William J., House, Murtha, Charles, House and Brick Yard and South Dakota Dept. of Transportation Bridge No. 64-061-199 and Chicago and Northwestern Railroad Depot.

Several famous people are associated with these Union County historic places including Gov. William J. Bulow, Drs. Andrew & Anna Hyden and J. W. Reedy.
