Laramie County Wyoming has 50 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 2 places of National significance and 11 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Fort David A. Russell, Frewen, Moreton, House, Atlas Theatre, Capitol North Historic District and Cheyenne South Side Historic District.

Many famous people are associated with these Laramie County historic places including Moreton Frewen, Erasmus Nagle, George W. Baxter, William Sturgis, Ferdinand Lafrentz and Mary O'Hara.
