New Haven County Connecticut (Historic Districts) has 50 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 3 places of National significance and 39 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, Guilford Historic Town Center, New Haven Green Historic District, Bank Street Historic District and Beaver Hills Historic District.

Several famous people are associated with these New Haven County historic places including James Hillhouse, Humphreys,David, Gen. and John Howard Whittemore.

Some of the country's most noteable architects helped create the New Haven County places including Ethiel Town, Donald Grant Mitchell, David Hoadley, Beaver Hills Co., F.E.
