Many famous people are associated with these Putnam County historic places including Russell Wright, Thomas P. Rossiter, Edwards Pierrepont, Walter F. Brewster, Thompson Walter and Dr. Frederick D. Lente.

Some of the country's most noteable architects helped create the Putnam County places including William Vermilye, Russell Wright, David L. Leavitt, J.
