Allegheny County Pennsylvania (Historic Districts) has 50 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 6 places of National significance and 4 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Carrie Blast Furnace Number 6 and 7, Chatham Village Historic District, Homestead Historic District, Kennywood Park and Logans Ferry Powder Works Historic District.

Some of the country's most noteable architects helped create the Allegheny County places including Edward Stotz, Henry C. Fownes, George S. Davidson, David Redick, Innocenti and Webel, John Chislett, Alden and Harlow et al., Frederick Scheibler, Murphy & Hamilton and Charles Bickel.
