Dutchess County New York (Historic Districts) has 44 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 11 places of National significance and 4 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site, Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site (Boundary Increase), Hudson River Heritage Historic District, Hudson River Heritage Historic District and Hudson River Heritage Historic District.

Several famous people are associated with these Dutchess County historic places including Judge Robert R. Livingston, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt and Gulian Crommelin Verplanck.
