Ontario County New York (Historic Districts) has 10 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 2 places of National significance and 2 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Farmington Quaker Crossroads Historic District, Sonnenberg Gardens, North Main Street Historic District and South Main Street Historic District and Canandaigua Historic District.

The famous person Capt. Charles Williamson is associated with one of more of the Ontario County historic places.
